Website Design and Development

 

Website Design and Development is provided for students who have an interest in learning the principles of website design. The objective of the course is to provide students the opportunity to work both individually and collaboratively on building webites rich in multimedia content.

 

This includes original artwork and animations. Students will use Adobe Web Design Collection (Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop) programming components will include html, CSS, and javascript.

Advanced Computers

 

In this course, students will learn the most important topics of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop (CS3). Students will first learn how to get started with InDesign, including how to work with text and set up a document, how to work with frames, and how to work with colors.

 

Then, students will learn how to get started with Illustrator, including how to create text and gradients, draw and compose an illustration, transform and distort objectives, and how to work with layers.

 

Finally, students will learn how to get started with Photoshop, including how to work with layers, make selections, incorporate color techniques, and place type in an image.
